Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of Gymliga — the Gymliga mobile app, gymliga.com and the services behind them (together, the "Service"). The Service is run by Alperen Yalçın, Türkiye ("we", "us"). Contact: [email protected].

By using the app you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the Service.

1. What Gymliga does

Gymliga is a workout log: it lets you record your workouts, follow a program and see your progress. From your records it works out XP, streaks, muscle ranks and a weekly league standing. It is free to use; some features are unlocked by a Gymliga Pro subscription.

2. Your account

  • Gymliga is for people 13 and older.
  • You can use the app without signing up, with a guest account. A guest account belongs to this phone: it can be lost if you delete the app or change phones. To keep your workouts, save your account with Google, Apple or email; the data in your guest account moves to your saved account.
  • You are responsible for what happens in your account and for keeping your sign-in details safe.
  • You can delete your account at any time in the app (Profile → Settings → Delete account). Deletion is immediate and permanent; what is kept is set out in the Privacy Policy.

3. Gymliga Pro subscription

  • You buy Gymliga Pro in the app through Apple (the App Store) or Google (Google Play). The store takes the payment, and the purchase is subject to that store's terms.
  • The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel it; the charge is made to your store account within the 24 hours before the period ends.
  • If a plan includes a free trial, it turns into a paid subscription unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. The trial length and the price are shown before you buy.
  • Prices are shown in the app, in the currency and with the tax the store sets for your country. We may change the price; a change never affects a period you have already paid for, and the store tells you beforehand.
  • Cancel in the store: Subscriptions in your Apple Account settings, or Subscriptions in Google Play. When you cancel, Pro stays on until the end of the period you paid for. Deleting your Gymliga account does not stop the subscription.
  • Refunds are made by the store that took the payment, under its own rules; you ask Apple or Google for them.

4. Apple's standard licence agreement

If you downloaded the app from the Apple App Store, Apple's standard licence agreement (Licensed Application End User License Agreement) also applies to your use of the app, together with these terms. These terms are between you and us, not Apple; we are responsible for the app's support and content. Where the two conflict, the provisions of Apple's agreement that protect you prevail.

5. Acceptable use

Your friends and the people in your league group see your username and your avatar or profile photo. So:

  • your username and profile photo may not contain insults, hate speech, sexual content, violence or an impersonation of someone else; you may not use someone else's photo without their permission;
  • log only workouts you actually did; entering made-up records to get ahead in the league or in the ranks, using the Service with automated tools, or trying to get around its limits is not allowed;
  • you may not use the Service for anything unlawful or to harass others.

Profile photos are checked automatically before they are shown; usernames can be reported. We may remove an inappropriate name or photo, and suspend or close an account that breaks these rules.

6. Health warning

Gymliga is not medical advice. Programs, weight suggestions, ranks and AI coach comments are general information; they do not replace the judgement of a doctor, physiotherapist or coach. Talk to your doctor before starting a new exercise program, especially if you have a health condition, an injury or are pregnant. Know your limits, use good technique, and stop at once if you feel pain, dizziness or shortness of breath. Your training is your own responsibility.

7. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is". We work to keep it available but do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free; we may change or remove features. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Beyond that, to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for injuries that happen while you use the Service or for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid for Gymliga Pro in the 12 months before the claim.

8. Termination

You can end this agreement at any time by deleting your account. If you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, we may suspend or close your account. If we shut the Service down entirely, we will tell you in the app a reasonable time beforehand. Closing your account does not stop a paid store subscription by itself; you need to cancel it in the store.

9. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms. We show the new date above and announce important changes in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept it. These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Türkiye; if you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory law of the country you live in.
